Jean-Marc Gauthier
Crayons, Interactive Sketchbook, 2005

'Crayons', a virtual space inspired by minimalist art, is a three-screeninstallation about the sculptures of Sol Lewitt. 'Crayons' can respond to a viewer's movement by creating streams of information processed inside the virtual world.

"If the artist carries through his idea and makes it into visible form, then all the steps in the process are of importance. The idea itself, even if not made visible, is as much a work of art as any finished product." -Sol Lewitt
