Bio Clay Shirky teaches at ITP, where he works on the overlap of social and technological networks. His writings about networks, economics, and culture in various outlets, including Wired, the New York Times, the London Times, Business 2.0, and the IEEE, and are archived at Shirky.com. He works as a consultant for organizations designing large networks, including the Library of Congress, the Monitor Group, and Connecting for Health, a public-private collaborative working to improve healthcare through better use of IT.
